Accreditation

UC Irvine is fully accredited by the Senior Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The Program in Nursing Science’s Baccalaureate Degree and Master’s Degree programs are fully accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

The Program in Nursing Science is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, which allows the graduates of the program to sit for the National Council for Licensure Examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN) and to obtain a public health nurse certificate. The Program in Nursing Science’s Nurse Practitioner Program is also approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
